Day 20

Baby Abram

Had a great time and learned a lot taking pictures of this little guy. He was so patient with us and allowed us to move him all over the place for his photo shoot! I got the suitcase at Blue Suede Shoes for the perfect photo prop.

Day 19

Squeaker

We brought Sadie (our German Shepherd) back a squeaker toy. She loves toys that squeak but they are hard to find in the durability standard that we need with a Shepherd. She was in love and has not stopped squeaking the thing...kind of cute, kind of annoying!

I should have payed better attention to my focus as it is a little soft. I am finding that I struggle getting a good focus with my 50mm lens. Practice, practice, practice...right?!?

Day 18

Tucker

This dog has the most impossible coat, that and he is dirty. Yes, he is a dirty dog! He loves to romp in the mud, dig in the dirt, wrestle with Sadie and get a very slobbery head...he is dirty! He must be a boy!!!

Day 17

Abram's Blessing Day

This is the Hatch family. They have become good friends of ours here in Arkansas. Today was little Abram's blessing day and Dave had the opportunity to participate in the blessing. This was a quick shot for them to commemorate the very special day.

Day 16

Up in the Clouds at Sunset

There are the moments in life where you are simply in the right place at the right time for a great image. In those moments you better hope you have your camera with you!!! This was one of those moments...up in the clouds at sunset on our way back from a great vacation. The clouds were simply spectacular. I have never flown through such a site! It did make for a bump ride, but I think this image made it worth it. Taken with my iphone 4s (kind of wish I could have got up to grab my "real" camera)! I had to have taken about 20 shots. The clouds just kept getting more and more interesting as we went through them (I'm pretty sure the guy sitting next to Dave thought I was a little crazy) and then magic happened...the sun peaked through!

Day 15

Father and Son

So glad Dave was able to spend some quality time with his father. It was long overdue and much needed! I never realized how much they look alike until I was reviewing this picture.
